At a beauty salon in Romania, a four-month-old kitten named Mau has become an unexpected salon assistant.
A talented assistant
Wherever his owner goes, Mau follows and on this occasion, that meant joining her at work in the nail salon. In the video, Mau is seen perched under a lamp, carefully observing the manicure in progress.
The clip, posted last week by beautician Liana Nicolae, is already gaining traction online. In it, Mau can be seen gently placing his paw on the nail file, holding it steady as Ms Nicolae shapes a customer’s nail. At one point, the tiny assistant even pauses to inspect the work before allowing the session to continue.
It’s not every day you see a cat taking part in such a delicate profession, but Mau seems more than up to the task. His poise and concentration have left viewers both amused and amazed.
