Last June, the owner of a small dog filmed his pet lying on the pavement, calmly watching the world go by. Nothing too unusual, except it was pouring with monsoon rain.
A surprising viral hit
The dog lay on the pavement, hind legs crossed, quietly observing the rain-soaked streets of Guangdong Province’s industrial heart, completely unfazed.
The video, posted to Facebook, quickly gained nearly 2 million views and over 137,000 comments. People loved the dog's calm, almost philosophical demeanour. It was a side of canine behaviour not often seen—no chasing, no barking, just stillness in the storm.
