It was a very cold day, and snow had covered the dirt tracks.
As they passed a field with some horses in it, Lea's dog stopped in his tracks.
An unexpected meeting
The Pyrenean Mountain Dog watched the horses, clearly hoping to make their acquaintance.
Then, on a sudden impulse to visit their field, the dog decided to slip under the fence for a closer look. There was just one problem: the horses weren't exactly thrilled to see this little "intruder" trespassing in their pasture…
A regrettable decision?
The horses weren't having any of it and immediately started to chase him! The video below shows the frantic pursuit as the horses gallop after the poor dog.
The horses chase the dog at full speed around the field, before he finally manages to slip back under the fence to escape. In the video's caption, Lea wrote: "A throwback to the day I was walking my dog and he thought he could pass for a horse, but ended up having the most traumatic experience of his life."
2.5 million people have followed the dog's misadventure on TikTok. "It's a good thing Pyrs are fast because they were really after him!!" one user commented.
