And though it’s tough to forgive such a rash act of plundering, one could argue that Watson’s way of apologising may just merit an exception.
Watson’s owner (thankfully) filmed the whole scene. First, she asks Watson if he understands her. Surprisingly, the dog grunts in agreement.

Then, his owner asks him: “What do we say when we steal someone else’s chewy?”
The Golden Retriever then makes his way to his brother’s side and throws his front paws around his neck, placing his head on top of Kiko’s. Plus, Watson adds in a whole lot of puppy dog eyes, and voila, you’ve got yourself an apology.
Best friends
We definitely couldn’t stay mad at this guy for long. But it would seem that it’s water under the bridge for Kiko anyway. Since the video was released, the two of them have posed in beautiful photos together, showcasing just how close they are.
We’re glad everything turned out ok in the end. And we sure hope Watson lets Kiko eat his own chewy next time.
