First impressions
When his mum brings home a tiny Harlequin pup, he simply doesn’t know what to do with himself!
He starts by sniffing the little fella, but then lets out unsatisfied grunts and grumbles. He’s clearly not excited about sharing his mum’s love with someone else! In the end, he turns to his owner for comfort. He places his two front paws on her shoulders, towering over her. Mum strokes him consolingly, letting him know that she loves him too.
Giants size, giant hearts
Great Danes are one of the biggest dog breeds in the world, in fact, the tallest one measures 1 m35! But despite their monstrous size, Great Danes are gentle giants. Many fans of the breed describe them as the most affectionate dogs, who also do great with children.
