German Shepherds are well-known for being exceptional working dogs, characterised by their intelligence and high energy.
So it’s no surprise that they're always trying to stay busy, even when they're in the comfort of their own home.
Like a fish in water
This dog is no exception. On a hot, sunny day, he decided to cool down with a swim. Some dogs are afraid of water, but that is definitely not the case for this GSD! He jumps in excitedly, begins to swim in circles, and bites at the water as if to play with it! Then he climbs out, runs around the pool, and jumps in a second time!
How long he did this, we don’t know, but one thing's for sure – this is a happy dog and his joy is contagious, which is just what we needed right now!
Watch your canine kids!
Remember to keep your dog under close watch if you let it go for a swim. Even if they are terrific swimmers, an accident could happen in the blink of an eye!
