It shows a car pulling over and a woman letting a dog out before getting back inside.

The poor dog jumps up at the car, trying to get back in, but the person abandoning him simply drives away without a second glance. The dog's attempt to stop the car and persuade his owner to stay is utterly heartbreaking.
The video of this cruel abandonment was shared on social media, moving many people online. Thanks to the video's circulation, the town's pastor saw it and immediately went to the location to rescue the dog.
A new beginning
The pastor was able to retrieve the dog, whom he named Leo. The poor creature was in desperate need of a groom, as his coat was heavily matted. Leo is now completely shaved, but his fur will soon grow back healthy and clean.
And in wonderful news, the pastor has decided to adopt Leo for life! He has received a great deal of support on social media, as well as financial contributions from the animal-loving community to help care for Leo. The sweet dog will now spend Christmas warm and safe, surrounded by his forever family.
