Lisa has to wear protective gear just to get into her car...
A venomous passenger
A venomous Red-Bellied Black Snake has been living in Lisa's car since March. She first noticed snake droppings before spotting the snake itself in her car.
After four unsuccessful attempts by professionals to remove it, Lisa has come to accept the situation.
She has even given the snake a cat's name, Fluffy, and decided to change her outlook on the matter.
Lisa is now learning to coexist with the snake in her vehicle. She wears protective gear when driving to shield herself from potential bites.
A cautious coexistence
Lisa believes the reptile got into her car at a construction site when she left the door open.
Although she is aware that the snake could potentially harm her, Lisa feels she has little choice but to carry on with Fluffy as her passenger.
She now drives wearing woolly trousers and other protective gear to keep herself safe from the snake.
A professional from the Australian Reptile Park has since contacted Lisa, offering to help remove the reptile from her car. Watch this space!
