Apparently, this person's cats are causing a "nuisance" to their neighbour!
A baffling letter
On Reddit, she explained that she owns her own home and has three cats, plus two new kittens she found outside.
Two of them love to sit by the window when it's sunny and nap in the sun.
The owner mentioned that they keep the windows open as they haven't installed air conditioning yet.
Apparently, the neighbour isn't happy about the cats' habit of sunbathing by the window.
In fact, the owner received a handwritten note which read:
"Hello neighbour! Can you please keep your cats out of the window? They are causing my dog to sit at the window and bark all day long. I work from home, so it's very disruptive."
Reddit users respond
One user suggested the owner should reply: "Please keep your dog out of the window, its presence is disturbing my cat's chakras and relaxing vibrations, thank you."
Another suggested the cat owner should send the neighbour a "business card for a dog trainer".
Others disagreed with the neighbour's request: "Closing the blinds just results in broken blinds (and a cat in the window)."
"You can't stop a cat from sitting in a window. Cats will find a way."
"Your neighbour is being ridiculous."
Others pointed out that while you can't stop cats from sitting in the window, you can train a dog not to bark:
"You can absolutely do a number of things to stop a dog from barking at a window."
We have to say, we were also completely stunned by this letter!
