In St Louis, Missouri, USA, a lone dog was found in a car park. Frightened, the dog jumped over a wire fence and ended up on a ledge below.
As The Dodo reports, the poor dog found himself trapped with no way to turn back.
The rescue organisation Stray Rescue of St Louis was called to help him. On site, the volunteers met a completely lost Pitbull.
"He's happy to be free and safe"
Named Hoka, the poor dog, around two years old, was trembling with anxiety. However, as soon as he heard humans approaching, he immediately let his guard down.
"He trusted us straight away and let us pick him up and get him out," the organisation wrote. "He's so happy to be free and safe!"
Fortunately, Hoka wasn't suffering from any health issues. Although he was found wearing a collar, the rescue quickly realised he had no owners.
Whilst waiting to find the perfect family, the dog is staying at the rescue. The Wamiz team hopes the pooch will leave the rescue soon to spend the end of the year with a family.
