In Vietnam, a young woman discovered a malnourished cat sleeping near a rubbish skip. She couldn't leave him to live in these conditions. The poor kitten was having to survive surrounded by rusty metal.
Sarah tried to catch him on her first attempt, but without success. Very frightened, the moggy began to show signs of stress.
The shelters were full
However, the young woman never gave up. She returned several times to see him until the moggy finally agreed to accept food.
This rescuer tried to contact different shelters and organisations, but she quickly realised there wasn't a single space available for this feline.
Sarah therefore decided to keep him with her whilst she found a solution. And quickly, she realised she wouldn't be able to let him go.
During their first night together, the cat snuggled up against her and didn't move. As she shared on Reddit, she waited until his vaccinations were up to date before bringing him home with her to Canada.
