Chance is a cat who arrived at the MSPCA-Angell rescue centre in Salem, Massachusetts, in the US. The staff quickly noticed something unusual about him: his front paws were bent inwards.
”Everyone at the shelter thought Chance was so cute — and once he stood up and we noticed his paws, we immediately loved him even more,” Celia Jepsky, a project coordinator for MSPCA-Angell at the Northeast Animal Shelter, told The Dodo.
A unique condition
Although he sometimes needs a little help, the little cat manages to get around almost normally. Unfortunately, because of his disability, it took Chance longer than usual to find a home.
The video that changed everything
But it was a video posted on social media that finally caught the eye of a woman named Katrina.
She decided to adopt him without a moment's hesitation. Katrina and her husband already had a full house with two dogs, Junebug and Broccoli, two rats, Mr. Frodo and Gandalf, and another cat named Walter.
It didn't take long for Chance to settle into his new home, much to the delight of his new family.
