The municipal police are an authority that helps not only residents, but also our little furry friends who don't always cope well with the chill of the evening.
Cats sometimes seek out very strange places to rest and warm themselves up. One of these spots, often chosen but rather dangerous, is the chassis of a car and the warmth given off by an engine that's just been switched off.
A cat is asked to leave the vehicle
This is precisely what happened to the driver of a Hyundai who, whilst leaving a street in Krakow, Poland, realised that a kitten had hidden itself under the bonnet of his car. She was really difficult to spot.
The man alerted the municipal police, and a patrol arrived at the scene without delay. The cat was gently asked to leave the vehicle, but she didn't budge. It was only after some time that she could be removed safely.
The patrol took her to the police station, where she received not only food, but also a good dose of cuddles. Later, she sadly had to be taken to the rescue centre, where she's hoping to be rehomed soon. Her potential owner should be aware, however, that the little one loves warmth and motor sport.
We wish her all the best in finding a home where she can have all her needs met.
