This poor pup who was rescued has a very complex story.

In Michigan, USA, a woman was drawn to a dog. As she approached him, she was horrified to discover the dog was "frail" and "tied to a fire hydrant".

The woman quickly realised time was of the essence. She contacted the rescue organisation "Make a Difference Rescue" to help this poor animal.

"Without food, without a new family"

On site, Judie, the organisation's director, discovered the dog was injured and also "covered in fleas".

It was impossible to know how long this poor pup had been abandoned. A dog who let himself be untied by a volunteer without resistance.

During his vet visit, it was determined the dog was four years old and he was treated for parasites.

Named Buddy, he's described as being "impeccably gentle". After some research, it emerged that Buddy had been given away by his owners. But the people who received the dog decided to abandon him without food or shelter.

The Wamiz editorial team hopes Buddy will find a new family very soon.
