Over 150,000 dog enthusiasts descended on the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham for Crufts, with dogs from around the world taking part.
But it was Bruin from Somerset who won "Best in Show", making him the first Clumber Spaniel to take home the title since 1991.
Tough competition
Runners up to the prize included Tibetan Mastiff Viking, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen named Meghan and Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Hazel.
Bruin and his handler Lee Cox received the Kendall Memorial Trophy and a £200 cash prize.
"The dog of a lifetime"
Bruin won the Gundog group category earlier in the week, so to win the most coveted award left Lee almost speechless.
"I can't believe it. "It's just wonderful for this breed. He's the dog of a lifetime. He's really, really special" Lee explained as he was given the rosette.
He went on to explain that while Bruin can be a bit of a diva, he has never let him down.
