On the eve of Valentine's Day, Suzette Hall, founder of the rescue organisation "Logan's Legacy 29", was contacted to help an abandoned dog.
As reported by The Dodo, the woman received a message from a railway worker who found an animal huddled in the corner of a lift. The poor pup had been living in the cold and nobody seemed willing to help him.
"Sitting in a corner of the lift"
Mary, a volunteer with the organisation, came to meet the animal and get him out of the lift: "he was completely frightened, sitting in that corner of the lift".
Wrapped in a blanket, the dog relaxed immediately when he was taken to the car: "This adorable little boy snuggled into a blanket and fell asleep quickly", Suzette explained.

A happy ending for Clay
A vet appointment showed he had no health problems. The pup was placed in foster care whilst waiting to be adopted.
Named Clay, he's adapting very well to his temporary family: "He's very gentle and gets along brilliantly with my two daughters (6 and 8 years old) and my dog. He's going to make someone very happy."
And fortunately, Clay was adopted just a few weeks later.
