The owner of Cooper, a Poodle, still can't believe what happened. As she explained on her TikTok account, the woman was left gobsmacked when she saw her dog's transformation after a trip to the groomer's.
When she dropped him off, Cooper's owner had asked for a classic Poodle cut for her pet. She had even brought photos to show the look she was after.
"I had to look him in the eyes"
Unfortunately, when she picked him up, Cooper had been completely shaved. "I was in such shock that all I could do was laugh, because that's my natural reaction when I'm uncomfortable," she said. "I had to look him in the eyes to check if it was really my dog. He has different-coloured eyes, so I thought, 'Yes, that's my dog.'"
A matted coat to blame
To explain the drastic new look, the groomer said his coat was "badly matted", which meant the dog had to be shaved.
For her part, Sade explained to her followers: "I'm traumatised! I'll be brushing him every day from now on, because honestly, what on earth is this?"
