Two-year-old Kiki has become a well-known presence at a school in Glasgow, having developed a sweet routine with her human brother, Sonny.
Every day, she accompanies the group of 10-year-olds to Kelvindale Primary, where she then waits in the playground, before walking them back home again.
Kiki's adorable routine
"She's really sociable. She really loves children and has done so from the moment we got her", Kiki's owner Michelle explained.
"Everyone loves it - they get so excited to see a cat in the playground".
"She's often still half asleep when Sonny gets ready for school, but once she hears him leave, she jumps off the bed and runs downstairs to catch up", she continued.
"If the children stop or get distracted, she'll run ahead as if to stay come on!".
Nominated for the National Cat Awards
Kiki has officially been embraced as the school's unofficial mascot and she has also been nominated as a finalist in the Connected Cats category in the Cats Protection National Cat Awards 2025.
If she comes first, she'll receive a trophy and a £200 pet store voucher.
The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 24 September, hosted by Dawn O'Porter.
