Leah's life changed completely when she met 10-week-old Rottweiler puppy Gunther.
He was the only puppy left at the breeder's because nobody wanted him, so she immediately decided to take him in.
Fearing for his life
Leah was afraid he would be euthanised if she didn't take him, so she decided to offer Gunther a loving home to live in.
At first, Leah struggled to watch Gunther move with such difficulty, but she was determined to give him the best life possible.
Rehabilitation exercises
Leah had the idea to try rehabilitation exercises and stretches on Gunther's leg. Within three days, the Rottweiler was already showing signs of improvement.
The dog lover and her partner did their best to help the sweet addition to their family. Within days, his leg was stable and he was running everywhere trying to play with their other dogs.
Now aged 2, Gunther is just like any other dog. He is almost unrecognisable from the puppy they first met.
