Such was the case with a puppy named Carmal, who vanished a few days before Christmas.
Drone intervention
Carmal had been playing in her garden and enjoying the snow when the lead she was attached to broke. Once free, she ran into the woods behind her house.
Unable to find her, Carmal's desperate owner decided to call Chad. Within hours, he arrived and deployed a drone over the area where Carmal had disappeared.
Successful search
In just 15 minutes, the drone located Carmal. She was tangled in bushes deep in the woods, unable to free herself. Thanks to the drone footage, Carmal’s owner rushed to the spot to rescue her.
As soon as she heard her owner's voice, her head immediately perked up. Without the drone, it’s quite likely this rescue could have had a tragic ending.
