We all have our favourite spots for doing the weekly shop, even our canine companions.

For Ritchie, a Great Pyrenees from Florida in the US, it's his local CVS pharmacy.

It all started last year when Ritchie tagged along with his mum on a shopping trip to CVS.

A familiar sound

When they reached the counter to pay, Ritchie heard the rustling of a treat bag being opened... The cashier offered him a treat. That was 9 months ago. Since then, the pooch has been back every single day! As his human wrote in the video caption: "Now all his walks have the same destination"

Of course, spending time at the park with his best mate Chloe is always fun, but in Ritchie's eyes, nothing beats the feeling of strolling into his favourite shop for a treat from the staff.

Ritchie's favourite spot

As you can see in the video below, Ritchie wanders through the door at a leisurely pace and heads straight for the till. Sometimes he's alone, but if there are customers ahead of him, he knows exactly what to do: he waits patiently in the queue.

When his turn finally comes, Ritchie bounds up to the counter for his treat. Whilst he first bonded with the cashier who gave him that very first treat, he's since made friends with the other staff members and happily asks any of them for a snack. All the shop employees are absolutely smitten with Ritchie - seeing him arrive is a fabulous highlight of their day!
