Stuart and his French Bulldog Nero were inseparable for years. and when Stuart was diagnosed with brain cancer, his beloved dog remained constantly by his side.
In June, he tragically found out the tumour had spread, and with no treatment available, he had very limited time left.
Stuart decided to move back in with his parents, alongside his wife Danielle and his canine companion.
The most faithful companion
Danielle stayed with her husband until the moment he passed away. She then went to fetch some glasses for Stuart’s father, who was sitting with his son.
In disbelief, they noticed the French Bulldog become unwell at exactly the same time Stuart took his last breath: 1:15pm.
Heartbreaking tragedy
The French Bulldog passed away exactly 15 minutes after Stuart. Almost as if he saw no point in continuing to live without his beloved owner.
The vets found that he had suffered a dangerous spinal fracture. Whatever the cause, it was clear to the family the two friends died together.
