Hobbs, who appeared in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, was personally cast by Johnson in the 2019 film.

The actor affectionately called him "a spoiled movie star" and praised his on-set discipline.

RIP Hobbs

Johnson first brought home Hobbs and his brother Brutus in 2016, though Brutus sadly passed away a few months later.

The actor closed his tribute with a poignant farewell: "Not sure how spirits work, but come back and visit so we can get in trouble and laugh again."
