The day started out like any other for a kind samaritan, who was walking along when she spotted a white dog without an owner.
Dirty and hungry, he had clearly been abandoned by his family.
Slowly gaining his trust
The woman cautiously approached the white dog and tried to feed him. But unsure of her intentions, he kept startling, jumping back as if he were afraid something bad would happen.
A neighbour claimed the dog was his, but he seemed to have little interest in caring for his four-legged friend. He told the rescuer she could take him, even carrying him to the car.
A fresh start
The woman immediately took the dog to a grooming salon, where he was bathed and groomed. After four hours of care, he looked like a new dog. That same night, the exhausted pup slept for 15 hours straight – probably the first time he had felt safe and relaxed in a very long time.
Shortly after his rescue, the dog found a loving new home. And while everything was new and scary at first, he quickly realised what it felt like to be loved and cared for.
