JaDee Guidice was on an evening stroll in Miami when she allegedly witnessed a shocking and unexpected scene.
A Doberman was walking along beside the bay with his owner, when the man turned and kicked him into the water, she told Local 10 News in an interview.
A strange series of events
"Will you video me? I do this all the time for my show", he reportedly asked JaDee.
No, she responded immediately, before confronting him about his actions.
The 43-year-old construction worker then pushed another witness, before proceeding to shove the caring samaritan as she tried to help.
No hesitation
With the dog still struggling in the water, former lifeguard JaDee showed no hesitation, jumping in after him.
The man followed suit, and the proceeded to splash and kick in the water, she recalls.
Witnesses helped pull her to safety, with one recording the scene on her phone. "He hit her down to the ground", one lady can be overheard commenting to another.
But it seems the owner himself, Kodi Vidrine, has a very different story. He claims the dog is his best friend, who accidentally slipped into the water on their daily walk.
An investigation is currently underway with Miami Police.
