There's nothing more worrying as a pet parent, than seeing your beloved companion in pain.
So when 3-year-old Golden Retriever Maple started limping at home, her owner didn't know what to do.
In need of sympathy
She checked her paws over and booked a vet appointment for the very next day, but this clearly wasn't quite the level of care Maple was expecting.
The poor pup felt very sorry for herself, limping around on 3 legs, and even refusing to go down the stairs.
At one point, so desperate for sympathy, she decided to approach her furry sister Waffles. But the ginger cat was having none of it, swiping at the dog multiple times in an attempt to move her away.

Captioning the hilarious clip, "miss drama herself", Maple's owner never imagined the reaction that would follow.
The TikTok video has now been viewed almost a million times, with thousands of people sharing similar stories.
"My cat limped around on one paw for 5 minutes, and then changed paw", explained one bemused viewer. "My dog would do this and then change legs", confirmed another.
And sure enough, as soon as Maple was let outside, her mysterious limp seemed to disappear!
