Eugene Bostick needed a way he could bring his four-legged friends out on adventures. Drawing on his past experience, he came up with this ingenious solution.

Eugene Bostick is a retired Union Pacific railway employee, who lives in Fort Worth, Texas.

At 80-years-old, he now dedicates his time to taking care of stray dogs in need, offering them a place to stay and lots of love and care. The dogs are spayed or neutered by Eugene, and he makes sure they receive all necessary veterinary care.

Exciting adventures

The kind-hearted retiree doesn't stop there!

He strongly feels that caring for an animal isn't just about meeting their basic needs... They need adventure and fun just as much as people do!

But with a dozen dogs to walk, Eugene was finding it difficult to get everyone to move in the same direction.

An ingenious invention

With his past experience of the railway system, the dog lover decided to put his knowledge to good use, creating a little train for his furry friends.

Each carriage is made out of an old plastic container, with the carriages then attached to his tractor.

The dogs adore their special shuttle, excitedly jumping into their seats as soon as Eugene starts up the engine.

"Every time they hear me hitching the tractor they get excited. They run and jump in and are ready to get going", he explains.

What an adorable invention!
