Melissa Ringstaff and her family were driving through Kentucky when they noticed something white and fluffy on the side of the road.

As they got closer, they realised a Great Pyrenees was lying on the roadside.

Surprise discovery

They initially feared the dog had been hit by a car, so they were relieved when Tucker stood up and approached them, apparently unharmed.

However, sadly, Tucker’s canine companion hadn’t survived, and he had stayed with his friend watching over him.

Despite the heartache, the Ringstaff family resolved to help Tucker. They loaded him into their truck and took him home, welcoming him into their family and naming him.

Happy ending…eventually

Following a bath, grooming session, and hearty meal, Tucker quickly bonded with Ringstaff’s children and other dogs. Meanwhile, the family learned that Tucker and his canine pal had been abandoned by their owners, who had moved away.

However, their joy was short-lived when Tucker unexpectedly ran away. Undeterred, the family launched a determined search and vowed to bring him back.

Fortunately, to everyone’s relief, Tucker returned and settled seamlessly into his new home.

With love and care from his new family, Tucker has found his forever place, ensuring he will only ever feel love and security.
