Which came in the unlikely form of Himalayan cat Mitty Kitty.

The hilarious video shows Bailey trailing after the cat, in a desperate attempt to herd her. When she's still, the dog just sits and stares at her, with the focus she would need if she were trying to move a herd of sheep.

Bailey's owner captioned the clip, "POV - You are a sheep dog owner with no sheep"

A viral duo

The video, which was first shared on Instagram, has now been viewed more than 3 million times.

Many owners of herding breeds could relate to Bailey's obsession, with one viewer commenting, "we have no cat, so the cat is me".
