The 10th of December started much like any other day for a dog walker in Turin, when she took Limo out for his morning stroll.
But it quickly took a terrifying, and totally unexpected turn...
A race against time
As they walked along Corso Regina in Turin, Limo got stuck in between the wheels of the tram.
Panic ensued, and the fire brigade was immediately called in to rescue him. The brave boy was unable to move, but waited patiently for the team to arrive.
Frightened but free
Thankfully, the experienced team were able to lift the wheels of the tram, freeing Limo from the tracks.
He was unharmed, but understandably very frightened.
"Thank you so much for saving our friend Limo. A wonderful dog that was originally rescued, he is my Rudy's best friend", commented a friend, on the team's post, "You are amazing".
The series of events that lead to the accident are still being looked into, as it's currently unclear how he became stuck and where the responsibility lies, for what could have been a tragedy.
Had the fire brigade not acted so quickly, the poor pup could have been seriously injured. But with their quick thinking and life-saving skills, he's now back home, recovering from his scary ordeal.
