Desperate to stop the theft, Ali leapt onto the car's hood. The situation escalated as the vehicle accelerated, reaching 40 miles per hour. In fear for her life, she clung to the car before being thrown off when the suspects swerved.

Despite a reward for Onyx's return, there has been no communication since the theft. Ali sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.

The incident highlights the concerning trend of dog nappings, particularly targeting French Bulldogs, a popular breed among pet owners.

Los Angeles police are urging anyone with information on the suspects to come forward.

This incident echoes a similar high-profile case in February 2021 when Lady Gaga's dog walker was shot, and her two French Bulldogs were stolen at gunpoint in Hollywood.

Fortunately, in this case, the dogs were eventually returned after a substantial reward was offered.

Hopefully, Ali will be reunited with Onyx very soon.
