After enduring seven long years in a European testing laboratory, Elton the Beagle has finally found freedom and happiness in his new home.

Rescued along with six other Beagles, Jonesy, Davey, Ringo, Freddie, Olivia, and Birdie, Elton's journey to a life of joy was made possible by the Beagle Freedom Project UK (BFP UK).

Laboratory testing

Born at the testing site, these dogs suffered from dermatitis and poor dental hygiene, and some underwent surgery for ligament rupture.

Elton, likely subjected to testing for cosmetics or pharmaceuticals, now enjoys the company of his forever family in the UK.

Beagles, known for their trusting nature, often face heartbreaking conditions during lab experiments. The Beagle Freedom Project's intervention has given these animals a chance at a normal life filled with love.

Finally free and happy

In a heartwarming video shared by Elton's family, the exuberant Beagle revels in the simple joys of being a cherished family pet. Scratching, jumping, and engaging in playful antics with his Beagle companions, Elton's boundless joy is evident as he embraces the freedom and love he deserves.

His former life of confinement is now a distant memory, and Elton can now live his days in paradise.
