Cheyenne Benzo was at home with her daughter and their dog, Sheldon, when something strange on the floor caught her attention, causing her to look closer.

As she glanced around the living room, Cheyenne's eyes were drawn to a peculiar sight near Sheldon's bed. It appeared to be a clump of his fur, which, at first glance, seemed unremarkable.

Describing Sheldon as a "walking fur storm" having fluff balls around the house is no surprise to Cheyenne.

Moving fur ball

However, this particular fur ball seemed different. It had an unusual density, and to her astonishment, it was moving. Puzzled, Cheyenne got down on the floor with her torch to take a closer look. That's when she realised the fluff ball had eyes.

To her surprise, she discovered that the mysterious object was, in fact, a tree frog. Its soft, sticky body had become entangled in Sheldon's moulted fur. Cheyenne had no idea how the frog got into her house, but the poor thing looked rather bewildered.

The frog's entanglement in fur prevented it from hopping freely, leaving it trapped in the dog hairball. Sympathetic to the little creature's plight, Cheyenne decided to lend a helping hand,

"He allowed me to remove some fluff before attempting to hop, but he was clearly struggling. He let me pick him up and gently rinse him off. He remained remarkably calm throughout the whole process."

Once the frog was restored to its former furless self, Cheyenne introduced it to her 8-month-old daughter, who helped escort the frog visitor outside to a stream in the garden. He quickly settled in the grass under a hibiscus tree.
