They say you should always let sleeping dogs lie. However, this owner definitely gets a pass!
And that's because Aiden Mann might just be the world's greatest dog-dad. The 25-year-old works as a veterinary assistant and spends his free time looking after a very special dog called Plum.
A dog's love knows no limit
Plum, a mini Australian Shepherd, is blind and deaf. But that's never stopped her living the best life ever with Aiden and her furry sister - a 5-year-old Staffie-mix called Lola.
But as you can imagine, caring for a blind and deaf pooch raises some unique challenges.
"People ask me how I wake up my deaf and blind pup without scaring her," wrote Aiden on social media.
So Aiden shared his adorable technique via TikTok.
The clip racked up an amazing 52million views and over 12million likes.
But despite all his previous experience with canines, Aiden had lots to learn about caring for a special needs pooch.
The learning curve
Speaking to the New York Post, he said:
"I didn't know what I was getting myself into...But I did know that I loved her and wanted to give her a good life."
Well, he's certainly doing that now. And it's pretty obvious that Plum adores her dog dad!
