Olaf is completely unaware that being a duck might pose a few problems when playing with dogs. And it's just adorable to watch!
He lives on a farm with Sven the Newfoundland and two other dogs.
An unlikely friendship
A video posted on 18th January shows the duck running to greet the two Newfoundlands, who are clearly thrilled to see him. He then starts a game with his two canine friends, which, as the audio suggests, looks a lot like a Kung-Fu match.
The Newfoundlands are more than happy to play along and start running all over the place, with Olaf in hot pursuit. The duck runs and flies at the same time, which gives him a slight advantage over the two dogs!
One of the pack
Unsurprisingly, animal lovers were huge fans of the video posted on Instagram. One person commented, "That duck is definitely part of the pack!" Another added, "The doggos look like they're having a great time!" For others, it was the duck who even had the upper hand over the dogs!
This unusual friendship between a duck and dogs is a real joy to see. Indeed, getting along isn't always straightforward for these two species, especially for dogs with a strong prey drive. We're so pleased that Olaf has made two wonderful friends on the farm!
