A post on Twitter related a funny incident involving a Twitter user's dog. In the middle of the night, the man was woken up by strange noises in his house. Fearing it could be someone breaking in, he bravely went to investigate.
As he went to the kitchen, he spotted a strange ghost-like shape on the floor near the dog bowls. While the man had been thinking he might come face to face with a burglar, perhaps now he thought his house was haunted.
But as he got closer, he realised the truth of what was going on. It wasn't a burglar or a ghost. It was his dog, Lacy.
Pup in blanket
To the man's amusement, he discovered that the strange ghost-like figure was in fact his canine companion who had gone to her bowl for a drink still wrapped in the blanket she'd been sleeping with.
Completely unaware of the drama she almost caused, Lacy then trotted back to her bed and fell asleep as if nothing had happened!
