A super-fluffy (and super-fast) kitty has spent the last 12 years challenging her cat-dad to a race. And she's never lost a single one!

Rackarkatten, which translates as 'cheeky cat,' is an uber-fluffy Siberian living near Stockholm, Sweden, with her human, kitty-lover Magnus Luntrun.

She's the kind of cute cat that puts the word cute into a sentence like, "Oh my god, look at how cute that cat is!"

Ready, steady, go....!!!!

In addition to her stunning looks, Rackarkatten is an elite-level athlete - or at least in her own mind. It all started when Rackarkatten was a little kitten.

Rackarkatten's cat dad explains....

"We lived in a small apartment in the city but have a country place where we spent weekends. We always went for short walks, and when we would head back home, she wanted to race to the door."

Magnus sensed Rackarkatten was challenging him. So one day Magnus accepted. And, as you can imagine, he got absolutely smoked.

The pair now end every country walk with a race to the door. And Magnus has yet to get the better of his four-legged rival. In the twelve years they've been racing, Rackarkatten has never lost - not even once.

Magnus timed a few of Rackarkatten's performances. Her personal best is covering 60 metres in just under six seconds; that's fast enough to give prime Usain Bolt a good run for the gold medal.

Rackarkatten loves the outdoors. When she's not out-sprinting her dad, Rackarkatten enjoys climbing boulders and trees. Her other 'hobby' is chasing squirrels and birds, although she's still not fast enough to catch them.

She's still going strong

Rackarkatten will celebrate her thirteenth birthday next year, making her 68 in human years. However, she's showing no signs of slowing down.

Despite her need for speed, Rackarkatten is always super chill once she's back indoors.

"She isn't very active indoors," says Magnus. "She just eats, sleeps, and cuddles. I'm so grateful to have her in my life. She's such a good, fun, and loving friend."
