The video was shared by user @jameshalfaday on TikTok, which has more than 8.5 million views. In the video, we can see a ginger cat sitting on its two back paws and lifting its paws up in the air in a room where no one is supposed to be. It is followed by a cartoon video in which we see a cat that looks a lot like the ginger cat performing the same movements.

The cat appears to be talking to his deceased canine best friend, a little winged dog who tells him he can see him from beyond the grave. The images have brought tears to the eyes of internet users, as dozens of comments read:

"I'm crying right now, my dog died 3 months ago. I'm writing it here because I can't express my feelings anywhere else", someone commented.

Another person said, "I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best video I've ever seen."

Meanwhile, one viewer shared: "I remember after my dog Zoe died, my cat would walk around the house at night meowing very loudly, trying to find Zoe to curl up next to. She did that for three or four months.

Can cats see ghosts?

Cats do not have extrasensory perception (or a sixth sense). However, their senses are acute, and they instinctively need constant vigilance and observation.

A cat's sense of smell, hearing, touch, and sight is great, and thanks to these, it can respond quickly to different stimuli. A cat will see or hear things before a human does. In addition, feline paws detect vibrations in the ground, and cats’ whiskers can even detect subtle changes in air pressure.
