Whether you’re a fan of him or not, we bet you’ll feel sorry for Jeremy Kyle when you find out what kind of anxiety disorder he suffers from.

It has come to many fans’ attention that Jeremy Kyle suffers from a severe form of cynophobia, or a phobia of dogs.

Jeremy Kyle terrified of dogs on his show

Indeed, during the filming of a recent show, Jeremy hopped onto a chair when a tiny white puppy stepped onto the set.

Things got even more heated when an adult dog came onto the stage with his owner. Jeremy told her firmly: "Don’t you dare let go of that lead."

A fear from childhood

This is not the first time Jeremy’s fear of dogs has come to the surface. In 2017, he opened up about the phobia, saying:

“I’ve been terrified of dogs since I was a kid. When I was 18 months, I was bitten by a dog, and growing up, I held on to that fear.”

Some fans of the show were surprised to see that Jeremy could be terrified of such a small puppy - but a phobia’s a phobia! Desensitization or exposure therapy can help to treat these anxiety disorders, but it doesn't look as if Jeremy's interested. Oh well, more dogs for us!
