Gatico the black and white moggy came into the shelter with a jaw injury. He quickly underwent surgery for his problem, and was soon feeling much better!
Unfortunately, the surgery caused Gatico’s mouth to change a little. He’s no longer able to close it, so his mouth is constantly a little open.
Life-changing surgery
It doesn’t change his quality of life in any way. He’s still able to eat and meow just like any other cat! But he does look a little different.
Deserving of love
And because of his peculiar look, no one wants to give Gatico a chance! Yet, he’s described by his carers as an adorable cat who’s very affectionate and has tons of love to give. It’s hard to believe no-one would want him.
