A couple of months ago, a dog was brought into a vet clinic for his annual vaccines.
But in the exam room, the dog had a little accident and peed on the floor. When the vet took a closer look at the puddle, she realised it was pure blood!
A shocking sight
After performing a urinalysis and an x-ray, it was revealed that the dog suffered from bladder stones. A simple vaccination appointment quickly turned into surgery, and a total of 28 large bladder stones were removed from the dog! Two of the bladder stones were even as large as golf balls!
Thankfully, the dog was saved and made a full recovery.

The whole affair has since been shared on social media, and the story is leaving no one indifferent. One person said: "Bet he pissed on the floor like ' HELP!' Poor pup."
While another jokingly added:
We’re not sure about that, but one thing’s for sure: If it looks like your dog is in any discomfort when they go to the bathroom, or worse, if they’re peeing blood, go see the vet right away!
