Cats are big sleepers
There isn't a cat that doesn't love to nap. In fact, domestic felines sleep between 15 and 16 hours a day, i.e. almost 70% of the day. However, cats that have access to the outside of the house (those that go out into the garden or the street) reduce this rest time considerably. So do stray cats.
The amount of sleep will also vary according to the age of the cat and its personality, but it is usually about twice as much as a human would need.
His bed is his temple
This may explain the reaction of the cat featured in this article. The feline, named Albus Dumblepaw, became famous thanks to a viral video published on TikTok.
The video, posted by @neontacocat on February 7th, shows Albus in a menacing attitude, arching his back. The video, which has already been viewed more than 5.9 million times, can be seen here.
Whether it is to protect his territory, because he has been disturbed during his nap or because he is afraid of his owner, it is clear that "his majesty" does not wish to be disturbed in his chambers.
