A woman was driving home in the middle of the night after a family dinner when she saw something strange in her headlights.
Surprise in the middle of the road
At first, she thought it could be a group of stray dogs crossing the road. She slowed down to make sure she didn’t take any risks. But when she looked closer, she was stunned.
The animals were not dogs at all. Right in front of her stood a family of Lynx: A mum and her three young cubs!
The woman immediately pulled out her phone to film the amazing scene. Of course, the video soon went viral on social media.
Protecting wildlife
Lynx are slowly gaining in numbers in the east of France, close to Switzerland. However, if you do come across any, it is not recommended to share their exact location, to protect them from hunters in the area.
But watching them with admiration? That’s totally allowed!
