A California man was surprised when he arrived home at 5 am one morning and found that his toddler’s potty had been used.
A little "surprise"
Knowing that his son wasn’t awake yet and that the poop would almost certainly have been cleared away if he’d used the toilet the night before, the owner decided to check the security footage and was shocked by what he saw.
The grainy webcam footage shows a dark room with the training toilet just to the left of the shot.
A Pitbull pup enters the frame and walks around the training toilet, clearly with something in mind.
It takes the clever pup a few attempts but eventually, he lifts his back legs and proceeds to poop in the toilet bowl – what a clever boy!
A brand-new skill
The owner was flabbergasted by the video, mainly because no one had ever taught the pup to use the toilet – in fact, it was proving difficult enough to train the toddler to whom the potty belonged.
All we can think is that this clever pooch was caught short and realised this was better than going on the carpet! Dogs will never stop impressing us with their antics!
