Owner gets sweet revenge on kid who threw water at her cat

You don't mess with cats!

So when a 10-year-old neighbour threw water over her kitty, she exacted revenge by doing the same thing to him. And now the internet can't decide whether she was right or wrong!

Explaining her actions, Sharon posted the following on Twitter:

"His dad is at my door going mental, but I don't see the problem. Don't touch my cat."

And plenty of people agreed. In fact, the Tweet received over 600K likes. One person commented:

"The dad needs to chill. He should teach his kid to be nice to animals. I would've answered the door to a bucket of water in his face."

But not everyone saw the issue through the cat's eyes, including the person who posted this:

"I get your point, but if my child is doing wrong. I will correct it."

It seems like everyone has an opinion. But as cat-lovers, we've decided to plead the fifth amendment on this one!

The jury is still out

Either way, we happy to say that Sharon has made-up with the neighbours. And her cat has forgotten about the whole thing!
