Poodle returns from the groomer: owner doesn't realise the mix-up until next day

By Lina Rayan

For many dogs and their owners, a trip to the groomer is just part of the routine. But sometimes, things don't quite go as planned...

Proper grooming is essential for the health and wellbeing of our beloved dogs.

While many owners take care of this task themselves, others prefer to entrust their companions to the expertise of a professional groomer.

Grooming doesn't come without risks

However, unexpected incidents can sometimes occur, and it's not uncommon to hear of owners who are unhappy with their pet's new haircut.

But for Tykesha Cherry, the owner of a 10-month-old Maltipoo named Lucky, the concerns were very different when she picked up her little one from the grooming salon.

The dog suddenly seemed very different: her paws were crusty, her coat pattern was unusual, and the little pup wasn't listening to her owner at all.

A case of mistaken identity

After calling a friend, the worried owner agreed she had to go back to the groomer. And it's a good thing she did!

It turned out that the salon hadn't given her little Lucky back, but a completely different dog instead.

Although the two dogs looked very similar, the owner's intuition saved the day. What a relief!
