A police dog has become a true hero in Colorado, USA. As reported by the People website, the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office was called in to track down three missing children.
The children, who are all under the age of ten, vanished near the Midland cycle trail, just east of Buena Vista.
A massive search operation
As is standard practice when children go missing, a helicopter and search teams were quickly sent to the scene.
"I am very proud"
Among the rescue teams was Arch, a police dog who picked up a scent straight away. Fortunately, the three children were quickly located.
"We are very lucky in Chaffee County to have such a skilled and dedicated volunteer search and rescue team to help during these critical moments," explained Andy Rohrich. "With the addition of our loyal companion Arch to the team, I am confident that this team is second to none in the entire state. I am incredibly proud of them."
