Thief threatens a dog owner in the street: the pup's reaction amazes viewers

In the video below, a man can be seen taking a peaceful stroll down the street with his dog.

The off-lead pup is walking a few yards ahead of his owner when, suddenly, a motorbike carrying two people pulls up alongside the man.

It all happens very quickly

The scene that follows is quite shocking. One of the riders quickly hops off the bike and approaches the passerby with a knife. His motive is clear: he wants to steal the man's belongings, especially his phone.

A few yards away, the dog turns around and watches. In a split second, the pup seems to realise that his human is in grave danger.

A protective companion

Without hesitating for a single second, he turns around and charges at the attacker. The brave dog leaps at the thief, forcing him to back off. Visibly startled, the thief is quickly destabilised. He gives up on the mugging and runs back to the motorbike, which speeds away.

The pup continues to chase after the motorbike to make sure the threat is gone, before returning to his owner's side. Internet users have been deeply moved by the loyalty of this dog, who was ready to do whatever it took to protect his human. Well done to this brave boy, who certainly deserves a medal!
