After losing his cat, he vowed, "I'll never adopt another one." But the universe, it seems, had other plans.

A heart broken by loss...

When Parminder Singh had to say goodbye to his feline friend, Caramel, he and his family were certain of one thing: they never wanted to feel such pain again.

Although the former Google senior executive already shared his home with a dog named Waffles, the void left by Caramel felt impossible to fill. But fate, as they say, can be unpredictable.

Then one day, a new cat appeared on his doorstep – nameless, silent, and a little shy. It turned out his previous owners had fallen ill, leaving the cat suddenly homeless. Parminder began to feed him, but he never expected such a strong bond to form in just a few days.

Magic or coincidence?

One day, the new cat sat in the exact spot where Caramel used to sit. The whole family wondered if it was just a coincidence. The reaction online was immediate, with people commenting that the story was magical and that the new cat was... a sign from the universe.

The cat was persistent, returning every day until he finally moved in. He was given a new name: Panda. As Parminder joked, "We're about to be adopted by a cat!".

Many people commented on the post about this strange twist of fate. Several suggested it was a truly unusual situation, and that perhaps Caramel was watching over his family through this new cat.

Even a well-known cardiologist from the United States weighed in, admitting that there is something truly mystical about cats. Do our beloved pets leave us signs when they pass on? Or is it simply the magic of everyday life?
