As the final act of the famous ballet "Romeo and Juliet" was being performed, an unexpected guest took to the stage.
In the final act, Romeo has just died after drinking poison, convinced that Juliet is no longer alive.
A hilarious and unexpected appearance
The dancer playing Romeo was supposed to remain perfectly still, lying on the floor. But a ginger cat clearly had other plans. In the video below, the feline can be seen calmly walking onto the stage before approaching Romeo's lifeless body. After a few moments of observation and sniffing, the cat took matters into its own paws... It started to nibble and scratch the dancer's head!
Despite this rather unusual situation, the artist showed incredible composure and didn't move an inch. The dancer playing Juliet also had to improvise. She discreetly pulled Romeo by the legs to move him away from the cat, before resuming her role and her tragic grief.
The real star of the show
After causing a stir, the cat jumped onto a table on the stage, taking its sweet time before disappearing backstage.
No one could have imagined that a cat would one day disrupt one of the most famous scenes in literature. One thing is for sure: that night, despite the dancers' talent, the real star of the show had four paws and whiskers!
